When Tom wanted to know something about his new aquisition, a camper based on a Type43, I was immediately interested (of course). I sent him the link to the Bischofberger Type44 Camper. Indeed it turned out that Tom really found one of the rare Bischofberger Type43 versions. And furthermore, in a great colour and a superb condition. Tom really is lucky! And I am especially happy that Tom sent me the pictures to New Zealand! I scanned them with a new scanner, but I think they turned out quite good? The pictures behind the preview pics are mostly 1024x768 and accordingly large. |

The similarity to the Type44 body is apparent. But the aerodynamic shape of the body forms an interesting contrast to the rather angular Type43. |

Can someone tell me where these rear lights are from? I would say Volkswagen, perhaps the "Bus"/"Caravelle"?! |

The comfortable interieur. Pretty spacious, but only with the roof up ;)

The driver's compartement. Looks almost as good as new, complete in '80s darkgreen, a colour I like. |

With the roof down the long tail is even more apparent, or not? |

Pay attention to the rear view mirrors! In contrast to this the
Type44 Camper has the standard mirrors!
